This desk was originally from Mum's high school - due to its numerous years of sturdy service and its sentimental value, it is perfectly understood that the desk cannot, I repeat, cannot be thrown away.
Unfortunately for this piece of furniture, it met with a cosmetic accident (involving a lot of PVA glue...don't ask) late last year, and its hasn't been quite the same since. The good news however, is that the extent of damage was only skin deep.
Thus project Desktop Makeover commenced 05/02/08 and completed the next day.
